Smithsonian Honors Racist Eugenicist Margaret Sanger

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, is being honored with your tax dollars at the Smithsonian Institute.

In addition to starting the nation's #1 provider of abortions, Sanger was also a eugenicist (one who sought to cleanse the gene pool of "undesirable" races) of great proportions.

Aren't you thrilled to have this dark element of your country's past (and present) honored at the Smithsonian?

Aren't you even more thrilled that your wallet is being lightened to do it?

The Smithsonian is honoring one of the 20th century's most notorious eugenics proponets, Margaret Sanger. American Life League exposes Sanger's racist plan to create a "master race."

Building the Culture of Life at St. Bernadette Church One Day at a Time

On November 1, All Saints Day, our newly re-organized Pro-Life Group had an incredible morning. First, we attended Mass at 8:15am. Then, a group of nearly 25 people drove a mile or so to the Silver Spring abortion clinic at 1400 Spring Street. As we began reorganizing at the 'clinic', we met a few of the sidewalk counselors who expressed their gratitude for the prayer support we came to provide.

What transpired in the next hour was completely amazing!! During that time, about a dozen women came to the clinic as our group walked and prayed the rosary on the sidewalk near the front door. As we invoked our Lord through the intercession of Mary, we watched the sidewalk counselors talk to the entering couples about the other 'choice' while "Pro-Choice Security Guards" tried to escorted them into the abortion facility.

Some couples drove by and never got out of their cars.
Some couples parked and got the confidence to walk by our peaceful demonstration.
Some women turned away in tears.
Some looked confused and scared.
Some looked determined to abort their child.

As we got together at a nearby diner to eat breakfast, everyone there realized that our prayerful presence along with the counselors were saving lives. Without a doubt, all were very excited and shocked to realize the ease with which the Lord can use us as His instruments to preserve life.

Here are some things we realized and discussed as a group:
  1. God truly needs us and uses the peaceful demonstration to speak to the hearts of those considering abortion.
  2. If we organize a more concerted effort to increase the frequency of this presence, God will increase the frequency of saving lives and turning hearts. God needs us to call down His presence on site.
  3. This 'clinic', and many others, CAN and WILL be shut down if we can provide this simple and organized prayer during their high time of Saturday.
So as we embark on our journey and its mission to preserve and defend the dignity of life, let us pray to God through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Hail Mary, Full of Grace...
